Thailand hit by 3 bombs in fews day.

A Thai police officer talks to an
injured woman at ahospital in
Songkhla province ,Thailand.

This topic is talking about our neighborhood country Thailland. South Thailand had been hit by 3 bomb in fews day.The Bombs are explodes at Hat Yai Airport and a Carrefour SA store in the Southern Thai city, and the third bomb had found at Dreamworld Palace hotel in Hat Yai. Bombings at Thailand's Hat Yai airport and a Carrefour SA store in the southern city killed at least four people and injured 40 people. There have four Thai soldiers were injured in the latest bomb.

Thailand is a famous tourist attraction, especially for
Malaysian. So there have some malaysian are injured by the bomb. Malaysian should defer non-essential travel to Thailand's southern provinces following Sunday's bombings. But thousands of tourists, mainly Malaysians, started arriving in the bomb-hit Thai town of Hat Yai on Tuesday for the Songkran water festival marking the Thai new year, raising hopes of a tourism revival in the restive region.

Three bombs exploded almost simultaneously in southern Thailand on Sunday, killing at least two people and injured at least 40 others.

The blasts hit an airport, a department store and a hotel in Songkhla province, which has been wracked by an Islamic insurgency for more than a year.

The province's governor said two people were killed and dozens injured when a bomb exploded near the check-in counters at airport in Hat Yai, the largest city in Thailand's most southern provinces.

Provincial Gov. Somporn Chaibongyang said that another blast at the Carrefour department store in the city hurt five people.

A third bomb, on a motorcycle parked in front of a hotel in the nearby city of Songkhla, was detonated by remote control, police said. No one was injured. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks.

However, sectarian violence in Thailand's Muslim-dominated southern provinces has killed almost 800 people since it broke out in January 2004.

In one of the latest attacks, 19 people were wounded when a bomb detonated and turned over an armoured railway car in Narathiwat province on March 27. Suspected Islamic insurgents hiding nearby ambushed the passengers, wounding 11 police officers and eight railway officials.

The government has been accused of cracking down too severely in the south, where it has sent tens of thousands of troops to hunt down extremists.

Only a few days before the latest blasts, Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra promised to take
a more moderate approach in the region.

After finished reading this news I feel very sad about that. Why the separatist Islamic can do this kind of thing. Just put out a bomb there, and do not care who or how many people will injure by the bomb. Beside, there also have fews Malaysians are injured by the bomb.

The blast at the airport was the seccond time, the first since violence escalated in the adjoining Muslim-dominated provinces in January 2004. It had happending before, that why heart about the people of Separatist Islamic.

At last I hope that it will not be happend again, and wish that the people who injured by the bomb can recover as soon as possible.

My sweet trip in Melacca!!

I had visited Malacca with my gril friend on last year holiday! Five of us are stay at our friend home. Besides, we also visted the famous water world in Malacca which is call A'famosa. We have take a lot of beautiful photos in Malacca.

kelvin n Nicole in A'famosa

Malacca is about 150 kilometer south of Kuala Lumpur. Across the North-South expressway you'll be within two hours in Malacca. In the middle of the center are several hotel, who will offer you a "promotion rate". IA room with breakfast and taxes will offered to you for about RM 100. So why wouldn't we stay just one night in this beautiful, historic city? Just one night, that's enough, there's so much to see in the rest of Malaysia!

Malacca had a lot of conquerors in the past century's: Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch en English. In the past the city was strategic place at the border of the Strait of Malacca. It was a major port along the spice-route, and its harbor bristled with the sails and masts of Chinese junks and spice-loaded vessels from all over world. Also was traded: silk and porcelain from China; textiles from Gujarat and Coromandel in India; camphor from Borneo; sandalwood from Timor; nutmeg, mace, and cloves from the Moluccas, gold and pepper from Sumatra; and tin from western Malaysia. The strong wind was always blowing from the right position for the sailors and Malacca was a safe place to be, when the sailors came ashore. No wonder that they took this city for provision. Malacca became important for all who wanted to rule the Strait of Malacca. And...that Strait was so important for the spice-route. That's why Malacca had since 1400 so much occupiers and could grow to a world wide trade center.

Malacca is a very nice place to visit, there have a lot of history stories about the past century. So we can know more about Malacca. And my friend had bring us visited the famous places in Malacca and try their delicious food there. I enjoy our trip.

Eatehquake happend in Malaysia?? A powerful earthquake hit tsunami-devastated Sumatra early this morning, causing panic in peninsular Malaysia, where the effects of the tremor shook buildings from Malacca to Alor Star, sending people fleeing to higher ground in search of safety.

Tremors from an earthquake in Indonesia rattled Malaysia tonight, sending residents of hotels and high rise buildings fleeing in the capital Kuala Lumpur, residents said.

"I was sleeping and felt the bed shaking just after midnight" one woman who lives on the sixth floor of a downtown apartment block told AFP.

"Everybody rushed down out of our building and many others. People were just standing around in the streets.

A resident of Penang island off the northwest coast said the tremor disconnected phone lines, the Bernama news agency reported.

The quake hit a location between the island's main cities of Pedang and Medan at around 11:15 pm (1615 GMT) and lasted up to three minutes, it didnt happend in Malaysia before. I hope that it won't be happend again.
